Finalist Selected for the Independent Handbag Designer Awards

YAY! So LA CHICA CHIC was selected as one of the Finalist for the Independent Handbag Designer Awards! We are absolutely excited because we are so proud of Cristiane and her accomplishments. Here is what it said in the article..

La Chica Chic will be shooting at The Pearl in Point Loma doing an awesome photo shoot featuring our upcoming collection. We are so excited to promote this photo shoot because our new collection is absolutely beautiful! I'm not sure if we ever mentioned but our website is up and running!! There may be a little more kinks that need to be added. For instance, in the "ABOUT US" section, there aren't any picture of the USA team, which will be up soon! Also, La Chica Chic wanted to give a shout out to ALEX, who runs the THREAD SHOW that will occur this Sunday, August 17th 2008 from 10-6 in the Sheraton by the Marina. This event will feature the 100 designers that are growing in San Diego. La Chica Chic was invited, but unfortunately cannot attend so we would like to give him some publicity to make up for it. Celebrities

Meeting a celebrity can be really exciting. Meeting them, and have them wear your products is even more sweet. Below is the American Idol Judge, Paula Abdul posing with our director of sales, Bella. What's up?!

As mentioned before La Chica Chic won at the WSA Competition in Las Vegas. An event that we tried to get all of you readers to come.  In the WSA Today Magazine, the Wednesday, July 30, 2008 Issue, our winning suite for MOST INNOVATIVE USE OF SPACE was pictured.  In the picture our various handbags.  The picture is below..!
